Most dry eye disease (DED) cases can be traced back to problems associated with meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD).1 Rosacea is a chronic dermatological condition that mainly affects the axial regions of the facial skin.2 A rosacea subtype known as ocular rosacea can manifest varying degrees of ocular surface inflammation.2 MGD, a known cause of the evaporative DED, is present in up to 92% of ocular rosacea patients.3
