Neonatal warmers — Are they really justified in our hot climates, especially in summer. 1) I often see neonates with warm (hot) bodies— under hot warmers. I often feel surprised at the heat they are exposed to and that is dangerous, if temperature controlling thermostats of warmers fail or if thermal sensors fail. Can cause burns, hyperthermia, injure eyes, etc  2) They need to be wrapped properly— 1) in many layers (winter / rainy days)  2) In single layer (sunny and summer days). Note the temperature of the wrapped baby with the infrared thermometer. Then you will understand. 3) Warmers are designed for cold snow countries.
