Glaucoma is the one major causes of the irrevocable blindness and responsible for the serious disability threat worldwide. It is evident that there is a great need for new medication that reduces the intraocular pressure (IOP)-a major risk factor for worsening of glaucoma which leads to vision loss. According to the recent study, Brinzolamide/Brimonidine Fixed Combination (BBFC) is substantially more effective in reducing IOP in patients with open-angle glaucoma (OAG) and ocular hypertension (OH) when compared with single components as monotherapy.
