Over Publicised, Over Fashioned — Low doses of Anaesthetic drugs actually harm and pain the Patients- e.g.: Scoline, Bupivacaineheavy, etc etc. Low doses of Succinylcholine For intubation — is leading to —  painful Myalgias, excessive Fasciculations, Hyperkalemia, Rhabdomyolysis,  poor intubating conditions, More requirements of subsequent Non depolarising Muscle relaxants. Low INTRATHECAL doses Of Bupivacaine heavy + No Adequate Adjuvants added — in the name of Safe Anaesthesia — leading  to agonising pain, weeping patients, Hemodynamic instability, postoperative bleeding ... what not. Do not go by white Guidelines, Protocols,  etc etc — They keep changing every year.

Go by your own Clinical experience, if you are really focused on doing justice to the patient. Dosages we use should cover AT LEAST some hours post operatively. ATLEAST till Adequate rescue Analgesia is given. Any how…
