A 63 year old male c/o of pain in abdomen, decreased appetite and loss of weight was investigated. The USG showed tumor in pancreas. The value of CA 19-9 = 546.4(Lab Normal Range : 0-31 IU). The blood report shows serum bilirubin total 5 ( D:3, I:2) Lab Normal Range :0.2-1.0), SGPT: 260 (Lab Normal Range :5-40), SGOT: 182 (Lab Normal Range :5-45), Alkaline phosphatase 8 KA unit (Lab Normal range 4-11 KA Unit). Australia antigen negative. Rest of the test showed Hb 11.9, TLC 9200, ESR-16, BT/CT, uea, sugar, uric acid, ceatinine normal.
The CT Scan shows. There is ill defined mixed density lesion involving the inferior aspect of head of pancreas and uncinate process measures 3.4 x 2.7cm.
