Though very rare, pisiform fractures also warrant due management as they cause discomfort, inability to perform daily routines and pain. This article aims to provide a short overview of pisiform fractures, their diagnosis and management. Upper extremity fractures are most common fractures. Amongst them, carpal fractures are most prevalent and even constitute a large number of total fracture cases. Pisiform bone fractures are comparatively uncommon and occur less often than fractures of the scaphoid, lunate, or triquetrum.
