Pleomorphic adenoma is a type of salivary gland neoplasm. It is a slow-growing, benign, and well-circumscribed mixed tumour composed of epithelial and stromal components. Occasionally we may come across incidents of a metastatic lesion containing both stromal and epithelial components which is similar to primary benign pleomorphic adenoma. This lesion is designated as metastasizing pleomorphic adenoma (MPA).

Aim: Through the literature review of the case of MPA to the scapular region, we emphasized the current understanding of this rare anomaly.
