A patient had symptoms of severe epigastric burning with loss of appetite with mild fever with nausea.nhe was diagnosed as acute gastritis and improved within 72 hour. Now he's on omez 20 bd. he's complaining of severe craving for food and eating every 3-4 hours. He's also waking up in the morning with mild epigastric burning.

All these features going in favour of duodenal ulcer. Can someone explain this craving for food. OGD nt done yet.
