A 64-year-old woman with Multiple Sclerosis is hospitalized. The treating team felt that her condition could get worse if the feeding tube isn’t inserted for the proper nourishment. Next day in the morning, the patient agreed to the decision.
However, in the evening, before placing the tube, the patient got disturbed and seemingly confused about her decision in the morning. She eventually refused the insertion. Next day, the patient wasn’t sure about her refusal in the evening, and finally agreed to the insertion.
