Synopsis: Connective tissue disorders (CTDs) represent many chronic autoimmune diseases, consisting of circulating autoantibodies and autoimmune-mediated organ damage. The involvement of the cardiovascular system is one of the primary causes of mortality and morbidity in CTD patients. Screening for cardiac abnormalities is crucial in CTD patients.
