Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) are prescribed for the alleviation of gastroesophageal reflux disease and peptic ulcers and usage has been tremendously increased in geriatrics. In the present study, researchers aimed to investigate the association of PPIs usage with the risk of dementia. Study Design: Prospective, longitudinal, multicenter cohort study was carried out in elderly primary care patients.
