On 29 Jul-15 , a 27 years old Male Patient reported to me. He was detected to be Diabetic in Dec 2013. Casual check was done with RBS 285. He was on Non-allopathic treatment so far.
Details of the patient: - Height- 5.10-½ Weight- 136.7 Kg 1.79 meter Square- 3.2- So BMI- 40.72 Pulse- 104 BP- 147/89 RBS- 205 HbA1c-7.9 % [Average 204 ]Jul. 29, 15 WT-136.7- S.Cr-0.9 Uric Acid- 6.4 OT-PT-46/52-Total Cholesterol- 189 Tgl-175-LDL- 121 Urine- Sugar + Hb- 10.1 He was put on Metformin SR 1 g, Bisoprolol 2.5g after BF and Vildagliptin Metformin 1000 mg after Dinner. On 10th Aug 2015 , the patient details were: - Pulse -93; BP-147/89; RBS-106 C Peptide- 0.30 ng/ml That means he is either a case of Type 1 Diabetes or SPT1D (LADA). Kindly comment on the same.
