A five-year-old boy from Govandi has been diagnosed with extensively drug-resistant (XDR) tuberculosis in the skull bone, making him one of the rarest cases in the country. Family history: No history of falling down or suffering any injuries to his skull. His elder sister, who is 11 years old, is suffering TB and is on medication. Investigation: Chest X-ray report was fine. No tumour in his spine or limbs. However, skull was swollen on the left side.
