A 26 year old male patient came in with H/O acute right hypochondriac pain. Right basal rhonchii++. Hence, treated for CAP. Chest X-ray showed lower right consolidation. After 2 days, haemoptysis started. Got all TB tests done (Genexpert and TB gold as well), but all are negative. Meanwhile stepped up antibiotics. He was good for a month.
Again came back with hemoptysis on and off and left sided subchondriac pain. Hence got HRCT done. There is no H/O fever/ malaise/ weight loss/ anorexia. ESR WNL. SPO2 WNL. RR WNL. HRCT Chest shows: small, wedge shaped, peripherally located soft tissue opacities in posterior segment of B/L lower lobes. What could it be?
