Chronic kidney disease (CKD), a major global health burden affecting over 10% of the world’s population, requires effective dietary strategies to control progression-related risk factors such as hypertension . Fruits granola (FGR), rich in dietary fiber, β-glucan, and polyphenols, has demonstrated benefits in improving blood pressure and gut health, yet evidence regarding its safety and efficacy in moderate CKD remains limited. To address this gap, a study evaluated the safety and clinical effects of FGR consumption on blood pressure and intestinal environment in 24 patients with moderate CKD.
