As the treatment for metastatic urothelial carcinoma (mUC) is undergoing rapid evolution, the guidelines for treating the same are constantly updating. In light of the updated guideline of 2021 by the European Association of Urology (EAU), this article gives an overview of the recommendations for first-line therapy to treat mUC.
