The number of cancer cases has increased one-third fold in the past decade. This rise has been related to the population aging and growth according to a study published in JAMA Oncology. In addition, lifestyle changes and the recent developments in the diagnosis and screening have also been accounted for the increase in the number of recorded incidences of the disease. Talking about such cases, after Actor Irfan Khan, Indian actress Sonali Bendre also tweeted some time back that she was diagnosed with High-Grade Metastatic Cancer and was currently undergoing treatment for the same in New York.
