May I request medical faculties like anesthetists and surgeons to stop using nitrous oxide in anesthesia practice which will be very useful for all operation theater stuff as well as for their patients.Modern anesthesia machine is having air and oxygen; thus the percentage of oxygen can be reduced by use of air instead of Nitrous oxide which is a weak anesthesia agent and have a lot of contraindication for its use. If one uses nitrous oxide, one has to manage diffusion hypoxia; in case of air embolism, nitrous oxide will contribute more mortality.Endotracheal cuff pressure may increase and may contribute to airway edema jeopardizing life of the patient, mostly in case of pediatrics.It may be a cause of malformed child or abortion in case of the pregnant stuff, doctor or nurses or any other paramedical stuff.In developing countries, the scavenging system is not used in all places, such…
