A nationwide survey across medical colleges has revealed that nearly 74% of medical students and residents in India are regularly engaged in non-medical, clerical tasks, highlighting a systemic issue in healthcare staffing and training environments. The survey, carried out by the Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA), gathered over 2,000 responses from medical students and teaching faculty across 28 states.
