This video performed at Richardsons shows how to divide and insert a tongue flap. The first surgery for this patient was done elsewhere in a nearby city. That cleft palate repair was a disaster and led to a kind of a fistula formation as shown in the video.

With this surgery, we can make all kids with cleft palate speak like kids who don’t have clefts. More than 15000 facial plastic surgeries have been successfully performed by the craniofacial team headed by me.
