TAVI, also called TAVR is a therapy for patients with aortic stenosis and is performed with local anesthesia and minimum cuts on the patient’s body. The valve made of natural fiber is implanted at the place of the non-functioning aortic valve and will take over the functioning, hence rooting out the risks associated with stenosis.
