Bariatric surgeries are becoming common in the patients with the diabetes and obesity. The surgeries are becoming common and as the effectiveness of these surgeries is increasing with the new research. The scientists have published new dynamics of this surgery stating it might reduce brain’s addiction for sugar. The studies have shown that caloric intake is partly mediated by the dopamine reward system in dorsal striatum.
