Age-related macular degeneration(AMD) accounts for 8·7% of blindness worldwide and is the most common cause of blindness in developed countries. AMD is a serious cause of vision loss in patients more than 60 years of age. Current article focuses on treatment practices in managing Age- related macular degeneration.
