Generally, Staphylococcus aureus is the main pathogen involved in common skin bacterial infections. Staphylococcus aureus is not a permanent part of the normal skin flora but colonizes on inflamed skin. Whereas, 20% -60% of the normal individuals have persistent or intermittent nasal carriage of S. aureus. Depending on the bacterial adherence and host factors, major advancements have been made over the last decade.
