Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the fourth most common cause of cancer-related deaths across the world with about 72% mortality rate in Asia. The first line of treatment for HCC was limited to multi-kinase targeted inhibitors but now have expanded to immunotherapy agents. Multiple myeloma is a clonal malignancy that contributes to about 10% of hematological malignancies. Treatment ranges from alkylators and corticosteroids to autologous stem cell transplantation in the advanced stages of the disease.
