Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the fourth most common cause of cancer-related deaths across the world with about 72% mortality rate in Asia. The first line of treatment for HCC was limited to multi-kinase targeted inhibitors but now have expanded to immunotherapy agents. Multiple myeloma is a clonal malignancy that contributes to about 10% of hematological malignancies. Treatment ranges from alkylators and corticosteroids to autologous stem cell transplantation in the advanced stages of the disease. Knowing the details of available treatment modalities and recent advancements in the field of pharmacotherapy of cancer is crucial.
