Central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR) is a disease which is partly understood. Yet, recent advancements in the imaging techniques have led to further understanding of the disease. Although CSCR is self-limiting, management of recurrent CSCR is necessary. Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is widely used for treating CSCR however , no treatment is considered the standard care for CSCR. This article discusses the current, emerging, and advances in the treatment of CSCR.
