Anterior skull base malignant neoplasms are rare, accounting for less than 1% of all malignancies and 3 to 5% of head and neck cancers. However, they differ in their presentation, prognosis, and histopathology. In addition, they are often diagnosed at an advanced metastatic stage of the disease. Due to its rarity and wide range of presentation, there is no consensus on staging systems and treatment algorithms for anterior skull base malignancies.
