A team of doctors from Zulekha Hospital, UAE successfully performed a 5-hour-long triple bypass open-heart surgery on a 38-year old man to restore blood flow to his heart. The patient was brought to the emergency unit with severe chest pain and numbness in the left arm. After examination, it was found that the patient was suffering from coronary artery stenosis with 95% blockage in the right artery and total blockage in the left anterior descending artery . To rectify the condition doctors at Zulekha hospital, UAE performed open heart surgery requiring three bypass grafts to restore blood flow to the heart.
