Tympanic Paragangliomas are rare benign tumors of vascular origin commonly affecting the middle ear. They are characterized by pulsatile tinnitus, hearing impairment, and otalgia. Small lesions may present as reddish wine color on the promontory; however, larger lesions need to be diagnosed using CT scan and MRI. Depending on the location, level of invasion, and the patient’s age, the treatment is either palliative or may require surgical resection resulting in low recurrence. Tumor configuration and technological advancements define the surgical approach that can be used to achieve the best results.
