Leading US medical groups have issued updated fall vaccination guidance for flu and COVID-19, aiming to provide clinicians and patients with science-based recommendations amid changing federal advice. The American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and Infectious Diseases Society of America each released vaccination guidelines for their respective patient populations. The recommendations come as flu vaccination begins and updated COVID-19 vaccines start to arrive following Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval of this year's versions.
