A 58 years old woman with diabetes mellitus under medications has fever.lab tests reports showed E.coli bacteria sensitive to gentamicin in urine and treatment was initiated,fever relieved on third day of treatment which was continued but on 7 th day patient again had fever.urine routine showed many pus cells in urine and c/s showed E.coli bacteria resistant to gentamicin. Sensitive antimicrobial agents were given.
