A 65 year old woman was found dead inside her burglarized home. An autopsy was performed on the body. Post mortem hypostasis was noted on the back of the body. Examination revealed petechial hemorrhages of the sclera and the inner side of the lips. Inner aspects of the lips were also contused and abraded. Internal examination revealed fractured ribs on the left side and congested internal organs.
