Lots of doctors find educated patients a pain in the neck. They feel that these patients think they are smart. That they spend a lot of time online. That they do a lot of research as a result of which, they ask lots of questions. They come with a long list of doubts, and they consume a lot of the doctor's time because they often don't trust what the doctor is saying and have their own opinion.
They want the doctor to listen to them and clarify their doubts, rather than just provide his professional opinion. Lots of doctors would be much happier treating either ignorant illiterate patients, who don't ask any questions or patients who are willing to put so much faith, trust, and confidence in their doctor that they are happy to let the doctor make all the decisions for them, so that they don't provide any inputs or personal preferences at all.
