Throughout rural India, chiefly in the tribal and remote areas, the lasting crisis of healthcare is further plagued by a dearth of doctors. As a result, State health departments are providing good incentives to make fresher medicos opt for rural postings although without any success. The state government has ruled to provide a  substantial amount monthly  to the medicos plus extra marks in entrance examinations for those who give a commitment of work in tribal and rural areas.
