Case presentation: A 27-year-old woman visited a dermatologist for unexpected painful lesions on both her toes that were progressively oedematous and pruritic. The pain intensified on wearing shoes. The woman did not have any history of autoimmune skin disorders and was not under any specific medications.

Investigations:        •  Multiple non-hemorrhagic bullae, approximately 1.5cm in diameter were observed on both the toes.
