Although India is the second most successful country in being able to reduce the incidence of the disease, the “zero malaria” stage is still distant. Undoubtedly, the medical fraternity has a significant role to play in eliminating the disease from the country. The present article lists some major roadblocks in achieving zero malaria and also focuses on the role of doctors in overcoming the disease.
