A 30-year-old man visited a dental clinic for a regular check-up. The patient was not on any medication. Dental history Last dental visit: Two years ago Good oral hygiene One congenitally missing tooth One deciduous tooth is retained. The patient uses a stiff toothbrush and brushes with his left hand. Clinical findings A localized white plaque was present on the attached gingiva buccal to the mandibular right second premolar. The lesion was nontender, slightly thickened, firm, rough, and fixed to the surface mucosa and underlying structures.
