A 23-year-old man presented to the emergency department by ambulance with the chief complaints of pain and swelling, after falling off his motorcycle. He was traveling at approximately 45mph and hit a stationary car. Physical examination Pulse - 100/min Blood pressure - 142/88mmHg Oxygen saturations - 97 percent on room air. Glasgow Coma Score – 15/15. He had no significant chest, abdominal or pelvic injury. Examining the left leg, there was an obvious deformity. His shin was angulated at 45°.
