History A 90-year-old woman with a history of coronary disease and gallstones was presented to the emergency department with generalized abdominal pain that started suddenly about 7 hours ago. The condition seemed to improve initially but then worsened at intervals. She had never experienced abdominal pain before. She denied any fever, vomiting, melena, bleeding, or diarrhea. She feels bloated now and then. She had a small bowel movement earlier in the day, but then had a large bowel movement after which the pain started. Physical Examination All vital signs were normal.
Blood pressure was seen to be elevated at 161/98 mm Hg. Examination of the cardiopulmonary system, head and neck showed no signs of abnormality.
