Case presentation A previously healthy two-year-old girl was brought to the emergency department with a persistent rash that had progressively worsened over five days. The eruption began under her left armpit and gradually spread symmetrically to her legs, buttocks, face, and trunk. She also developed a mild fever lasting two days, rhinorrhea, and mild pruritus.
No gastrointestinal complaints were reported.
