Emanuel syndrome (ES) cases are scarcely reported due to its lower prevalence, which is about 1:110 000. This case discussion presents ES in a 14‐year‐old boy suffering a multitude of manifestations, including the oro-dental condition of this genetic disease. Case presentation A boy having ES was followed for years from 3 years to 14 years of age, initially reported to have congenital cardiac, renal, auditory, and musculoskeletal problems and global developmental delay. The patient showed anxiety‐associated self‐injurious behavior with stereotypic hand movements.
Microcephaly and micrognathia were noted. The patient showed oro‐dental abnormalities, including primary and permanent teeth, erupted with a delay, and oligodontia (two erupted, five unerupted permanent teeth).
