History A 13-year-old female was admitted to the hospital with a painful right wrist. She fell backward with her arm outstretched while roller skating. Her wrist appears deformed, but it had been so since long, even before the fall. Her deformity was investigated at another hospital several years ago. She has a family history of bone issues.

Examination Firm swelling on the volar aspect of the right forearm just proximal to the wrist that extends laterally Some associated tenderness, but no malalignment of the wrist or hand Normal movement, pulses, and sensation Bone around the knees is prominent, with an asymptomatic bony module over the lateral aspect of the proximal right tibia. The image of the anteroposterior and lateral radiograph of the arm is attached for your reference. *This case is from the Editorial team of Docplexus and is meant for educative purposes only.
