The association of tobacco smoking with increased risk of lung cancer, stroke and cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) is well established. A new study has shed light on its association with infertility and menopause in women which concretely states how harmful active and passive smoking can be. Tobacco smoking is one of the most common addictions found across the globe. As per the WHO report, 40 million women in India are active smokers in tobacco.
