Anesthesia care is increasingly in demand for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients. Organization of all aspects of anesthetic care and planning of a particular procedure outside the operating room is often challenging. This article describes the challenges encountered during the anesthesia care required for outfield procedures in cancer patients.
The diagnostic and therapeutic use of radiation therapy is an indispensable part of the cancer care in both adult and pediatric cancer patients.
