In a shocking turn of events in Bengaluru, the Head of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department, two senior residents, and a staff nurse have been suspended by the Department of Medical Education (DME) following allegations of corruption, harassment, and medical negligence leading to maternal deaths. The suspensions came after an internal inquiry was initiated following complaints from patients and staff about irregularities in maternity care.
