A recent network meta-analysis offers timely clarity on the comparative performance of biologics in hidradenitis suppurativa, where head-to-head phase III data remain lacking. The analysis pooled results from six major trials—PIONEER I and II, SUNSHINE and SUNRISE, and BE HEARD I and II—covering 2,731 patients with moderate-to-severe disease. Among the biologics studied, Adalimumab demonstrated the highest likelihood of achieving HS Clinical Response 50 (HiSCR50) at 12–16 weeks. It showed statistically significant superiority over Secukinumab dosed every two and four weeks, and a non-significant advantage over Bimekizumab.
