Endovascular interventional therapy is a cornerstone in the management of cardioembolic stroke , though neurological injury from post-ischemic inflammation and oxidative stress remains a challenge. Diterpene Ginkgolides Meglumine Injection (DGMI), a Ginkgo biloba–derived neuroprotective agent, has shown antiplatelet, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant effects but has been minimally studied alongside endovascular treatment. To address this gap, a study evaluated the efficacy of Diterpene Ginkgolides Meglumine Injection as an adjunct to endovascular therapy in 104 patients with cardioembolic stroke.
