A 13-year-old boy with a history of nasal obstruction due to adenoid hypertrophy underwent adenoidectomy. One month after the surgery, he suffered from daily headaches. After a two-week follow-up, he complained of daily nausea and disequilibrium. The patient was admitted to the emergency department after the development of complete lower-limb paralysis. Oto-neurological examinations and complete head and neck examinations were found within normal limits. No signs of intracranial pathology were observed.

Pre-existing significant traumatic events with psychosocial stressors for the entire family were noted. The patient had evidence of anxiety and perfectionism.
