First-line treatment options for human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-negative advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction (G/GEJ) adenocarcinoma remain limited in efficacy. To address this unmet need, a study evaluated the efficacy and safety of camrelizumab combined with albumin-bound paclitaxel and S-1 as first-line therapy involving 47 patients with HER2-negative advanced G/GEJ adenocarcinoma. The study found that camrelizumab combined with albumin-bound paclitaxel and S-1 achieved an objective response rate of 67.5% and a disease control rate of 95.0% among evaluable patients with HER2-negative advanced G/GEJ adenocarcinoma.
Median progression-free survival was 7.8 months, and median overall survival reached 23.8 months. Grade 3β4 treatment-related adverse events occurred in 38.3% of patients, most commonly neutropenia (25.5%) and anemia (8.5%). These findings suggestβ¦
