Case presentation A 68-year-old diabetic woman visited the hospital with multiple tender swellings over extremities formed over three days without any constitutional symptoms. She had several similar episodes in the past and was diagnosed with folliculitis. The patient underwent incision and drainage treatment during those episodes.

Pus culture failed to demonstrate any organism growth.
